Message they cost the same as OEM and will not last. These are mine after 14 months and 50k miles. No racing, just driving back and forth to work with the occasional pull.

Some will suggest the Ford mounts which are doable but will set the engine up higher in the bay and change the driveline angle. Also you will not be able to run a strut bar since the plenum will interfere with it. Stay with the OEM mounts and save yourself future headaches.

You can see the mounts have collapsed. When installed they were wrapped in aircraft speed tape which is thick aluminum tape. Supposedly that was to keep the heat from melting them which was assumed to be the cause of failure. I removed the tape to take this pic. The heat very well may have been the cause, if that's the case then tape or no tape, it wont matter. They're a poor quality inferior substitute for a perfectly good OEM mount.


The mounts mushroomed and left the engine resting on the metal endcaps of the mounts safety catch. Can you say "vibration"?
